SKIN BOOSTERS – HYDRATING INJECTABLES
Throughout the year our skin is affected by many external factors such as pollution, our fierce Australian sun and heat, cigarette smoke, hormones and even perfumes and fragrances.
The result of all this is dehydration which presents as dry and tired looking skin.
As we age, our body produces less hyaluronic acid (a natural component of the skin which keeps it hydrated and supple.)
Skin boosters (also known as skin hydration) will give your skin texture and tone an extra boost in a way in which creams and serums can’t.
The gel formula of the hydrator holds water just beneath the skin which provides a luminous glow to your complexion. We can also use skin boosters injected into the face as a “threading” process, which can provide a subtle lift over time (we recommend a course of 3-4 treatments each four weeks apart for this).
To some extent, all dermal fillers help to hydrate the skin but true skin boosters/hydrators contain a much smaller molecule size to attract more water.
Skin boosters are frequently used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands to provide a plumper smoother appearance.
Three treatments, each a month apart, will give long lasting hydration.
PRE & POST
Skin hydrators or boosters are a gel made from a substance that closely resembles naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid in our skin.
Injected into the skin, hydrators will attract and retail water in our tissues and give the appearance of more brighter and more vibrant skin.
