IS EMS THE SAME AS EMSCULPT?They both use High Intensity Focussed Electromagnetic technology to stimulate muscles which results in muscle toning and fat reduction.
However our machine has combined programs for building, toning and strengthening muscles, or combinations of these.
HOW LONG DOES AN EMS TREATMENT TAKE?Each session is only 30 - 45 minutes but a program of between 5- 6 sessions within two weeks is generally recommended - with a single follow up session approximately six to eight weeks later.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR SESSION?No! There is nothing you need to do to prepare for the session, however you will find the session more comfortable if you don’t eat for about an hour prior to your appointment.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER MY EMS SESSION?Again, there is nothing specifically recommended, you can go straight back to your regular routine.
WHAT DOES AN EMS TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?There is a electromagnetic pulse going into your muscle which can vary between a tickling feeling through to a minor contraction-like feeling. We use up to 10 intensity settings but our experienced operators will ensure they reach a comfortable session for you. Many clients find the sensation pleasant and even go to sleep during their sessions.
HOW FAST DOES IT WORK?On average results can be seen following the third or fourth session. Further visible differences can be seen 3 to 4 weeks after the fourth session and the area will continue to improve for several weeks more after that.
WILL I NEED MORE EMS SESSIONS?
You may need to return for one or two treatments every six months, depending on your lifestyle.
